The first benefit that comes to mind is that the SRA ministry opens the supernatural to us. The supernatural things we see build our faith in God. The supernatural realm has already been opened to those who have been satanically ritually abused. During rituals the demons strip away the veils that have closed the supernatural realm to them so that these persons' senses are all opened to the spiritual realm. They can see, hear, smell and feel things the rest of us cannot. God in his mercy closed that realm to us because he knew we would be deceived or tormented by the demon spirits that inhabit that realm. And that is exactly what happens to SRA persons. They are tormented by demons and also deceived. That is why they need us to help them…and we need them to help us. They are like windows to the spiritual realm, and our association with them builds our faith.
Many supernatural things will be seen by those who minister to SRA persons. One thing we often see is supernatural healing. Many times someone has come into my office feeling very sick with terrible pain afflicting their body in some area. In a very short time their pain is gone because Jesus revealed it was caused by voodoo. He shows them a vision of someone sticking needles or knives into a voodoo doll or holding a voodoo doll over hot flames or some other torture. We break the power of voodoo in the name of Jesus and cast out the demons associated with it. Through this we see that spiritual entities can afflict our physical body (and/or spiritual body) with pain. We see the power of God over the demons. We see an instant miracle before our very eyes! This builds our faith.
One time I was all alone ministering to a satanically ritually abused woman. An alternate personality empowered by demons took over her body and tried to get her out of the chair to cause her harm. She was bigger and stronger than I and was empowered by demons, so in and of myself, there was nothing I could do. I cried out to Jesus and asked him to hold her in the chair. He did. She struggled and tried to get up but she couldn't move. I was then able to minister to her until the situation was resolved and she was stable.
Seeing things like this on a regular basis are tremendous boosts to our Christian faith. We see the power of God at work. We know that Jesus is really with us in power. This kind of faith will help us through the difficult days that lie ahead for this nation.
Not only are SRA people windows to the spiritual realm, they are also windows that enable us to see within the human soul. Just as all humans have the same physical characteristics…such as a head, a face, arms, legs, etc., we have the same characteristics of our inner being. We all have a soul and a spirit. The Bible is very clear about this. Other parts of our inner being are revealed in the Bible but only in the hidden types and shadows of the word. Unless we know about them already, we can't really see them in the Word. For example, when we minister to SRA persons, we learn that they have a pit within. The pit is where the most powerful demons live along with hostile, cult personality splits that work against this person. (Read The Authority of the Believer and the Locusts of Rev. 9 on this site.)
When I first learned about the pit many years ago, I thought only SRA persons had one. Since then I have come to know that we all have a pit within. It is the very seat of our sin nature. Chapter 9 of Revelation shows us this pit, how demons use it against us, and how we can overcome. It is a bottomless pit. That is why no human being has ever been able to fully overcome the sin nature. Jesus gave us power over it but did not remove it. However, he is going to remove it when he comes again. As Rev. 9 shows us, he has the key to that pit. He alone can lock it up and he will do that for us.
As we minister to SRA persons we see how the process of sanctification works. Having seen this process has also opened the Word to me enabling me to see it revealed in the Bible in detail in the four living creatures of Ezekiel 1. In SRA ministry, we meet alternate personalities (alters) that have serious problems. They are filled with pain, unforgiveness and lies they have believed. Demons also are attached to these alters. As we minister, Jesus comes. The pain is released, forgiveness is rendered, the lies replaced with truth and the alters are taken by Jesus to "the safe place," a place in the spirit where no demon can enter. The safe place is always described in such persons as being a beautiful place. There is often a stream, a waterfall, flowers, green grass and all the lovely things an outdoor scene could possibly have. It doesn't take long after ministering to such persons to realize that the safe place is actually heaven. A part of this person is in heaven (has been sanctified). The angels are there in the safe place and also Jesus is there. This shows us that heaven is not far away. It is even now within us only beyond our conscious ability to enter. As the Scripture says in Eph 2:6, (He) "hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus." We are hearing through SRA persons what heaven is like. It is not just clouds and angels playing harps, it, or at least part of it, is like the earth only perfect.
The most wonderful thing we see through the window of our SRA friends is Jesus. The parts of them that have suffered so excruciatingly are visited by Jesus. It is always interesting to see how he ministers to the little child alters who have been raped and brutally tortured. He plays with them! He'll climb a tree with them, play a game with them or give them a little kitten or a toy. He holds them and kisses them. He gives them words of encouragement. Those of us who minister get to see Jesus in ways others have never seen him.
Another blessing we receive from this ministry is the joy of sharing our spiritual journey with the precious persons who have suffered so intensely. Together we see demons, angels, Jesus and deep spiritual truths. Our friendship can't help but be based in spiritual realities. This blesses us with relationships that go far beyond surface, talk-about-the-weather relationships.
These are only a few of the blessings we receive from this ministry. I have a long list of other blessings that I will be sharing from time to time on this web site.
