Codependency Vanquished at the Kishon River

And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin\'s army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand (Judges 4:7).

Deborah and Barak entered into battle with 10,000 men from the children of Naphtali and Zebulun. Ten thousand is a number in Scripture often associated with victory in war. We see it first in Leviticus, And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.  And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword (Lev 26:7, 8). A more familiar passage is found in Psalm 91, A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

But there will be no more gloom for her who was in anguish; in earlier times He treated the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali with contempt, but later on He shall make it glorious, by the way of the sea, on the other side of Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles (NAS).

This article explains how the battlefield of our mind can be turned into a beautiful garden of peace and rest. This will happen as we go through a process in which our mind is renewed, a process requiring our cooperation and obedience to God\'s ways. Only when our mind is renewed will God open to us a heavenly realm of power and the miraculous reserved for His end-time church.
